The Belper North Mill Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Support Officer to assist its dedicated team of volunteers and to recruit new members and skills to run its museum and visitor centre at Strutt’s North Mill in the heart of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site.
The position is 20 hours a week. A flexi-time working system will apply and working from home is an option for part of the role, which will require occasional weekend, Bank Holiday and evening work for which time off in lieu will be offered.

We are looking for new trustees who add value to what we do, who share the ambitions of the Trust and who are prepared to get involved with our vital transformation projects and help us achieve our ambitions. Trustees should be able to demonstrate achievements in their professional, academic or chosen career or the voluntary sector, and illustrate how they can they use their skills for the Trust's benefit. We value enthusiasm, clear thinking, commitment, and communication skills. Presently, we have trustees with legal, architectural, historical, heritage, museum and accountancy skills and candidates that can add to our skills base will be appreciated.
Trustees are appointed for a three-year term and may be re-appointed.
